Holy Guacamole!
I could eat Mexican food every day for the rest of my life and that is not an exaggeration. Tacos, chimichangas, enchiladas, quesadillas… you name it and I’ll eat it! Usually, these traditional Mexican dishes are served with an abundance of sides. The easiest side, and my personal favorite, to whip up is homemade guacamole. It’s a staple in our house, especially when we have guests over for Taco Tuesday! Aside from the avocados, the ingredients are inexpensive and easy to find.

5-Minute Restaurant Style Guacamole
Ingredients
- 6 Haas avocados
- 3/4 cup red onion diced fine
- 1 Tbs fresh cilantro chopped fine
- 1/2 jalapeno diced super fine, seeds removed
- 1 1/2 limes juiced
- sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine the guacamole ingredients in a medium bowl, mixing with a fork until the avocados are completely mashed
- Add more salt to taste, and more jalepenos if desired
- Serve with chips as an app, or side to your favorite Mexican meal!
