Easy 5-minute Chimichurri Sauce

This South American green sauce is the perfect addition to your next grill out! 
Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings: 1 cup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 white onion diced
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 Tbs red wine vinegar
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Separate the herb's fresh leaves from their stems 
  2. Discard the stems and measure out the fresh herbs according to the ingredient list
  3. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until the fresh herbs are very fine and the ingredients are well combined 
  4. Rub on a steak, shrimp, etc. prior to grilling and enjoy!
