Method
- Heat up the grill to at least 400F.
- Cut all 12 strips of bacon in half to make 24 equal pieces
- Wrap each scallop with one piece of bacon and place on skewer, making sure to put skewer through the two bacon ends to keep them together. Skewer should go through the scallop and through the other side of bacon
- Repeat until all scallops are wrapped and skewered, 4 scallops to a skewer
- Make the sauce and brush each scallop with it
- Place the rest of the sauce in a shallow pan and marinade the skewers in it for 5 minutes, turning halfway
- Place scallop skewers on the grill
- Cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, until scallops are cooked the entire way through
- Serve with veggie skewers or as an appetizer on a plate!

Notes
This recipe can be made with turkey bacon, but the thicker the bacon is, the longer it has to cook. Over cooking scallops can make them chewy, which will ultimately happen if they have to cook longer due to the bacon.
